Youth Engagement & Financial Responsibility
Among the many issues affecting today’s young people, money management and being financially responsible are near the top of the list. In response, America’s Promise Alliance recently produced a video concerning young engagement and financial responsibility. Sponsored by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, the video shows a focus group facilitated by David Walker, former U.S. Comptroller General, to provide feedback about the Saving Our Futures curriculum, and also features brief interviews from young people who express their concerns about the country’s financial plight and speak about the need for the curriculum.
